Erik Bates: “It was ok.”

Similarities between novel and movie include: There's a guy named Abraham Lincoln who hunts vampires with the help of a human-friendly vampire and his friend, Speed.

Differences include: everything else. I mean EVERYTHING else.

I don't think calling this an "adaptation" of the novel is remotely accurate. What this movie is, essentially, is loosely inspired by a couple plot points of the novel.

That being said, this is still an entertaining movie, and well worth $1.30 I spent at my local Redbox to rent it.

Evie Totty: “It sucked.”

The action was pretty good but come on. The 'first vampire' dying that way?

Please.
